Binding Machines

If you need an innovative book binding machine which allows you to bind books, documents or photo books without the use of punched sheets, then our Unibind Systems are perfect for you. 

Our binder machines require little binding equipment, maintenance or user-knowledge and are designed to be used with our unique patented SteelBinding range, which consists of a variety of products to suit different applications and individual requirements. 

We have a wide range of book binding machines, including comb, wire and thermal, and as all of our covers and cases are easily customisable your books or documents can be completely unique. Customise yours with coversheets, transfer printing, foil printing or opt for our fully bespoke option with our CaseMaker service. We can foil print on any of our standard covers in a range of coloured foils with a name and logo to create a classic look.  We also offer a popular transfer printing option, whereby we print your emailed text and artwork onto a SteelBook to reveal a professional personalised colour front cover. In addition, with our new CaseMaker 750A, we are able to produce affordable one-off fully personalised hardback books. 

There are three thermal Unibind machines currently available in our XU Office Range, which work in conjunction with our SteelBinding Range, – the XU138, which has one heat plate and one cool plate, the XU238, which has two of each and the XU338, which has three of each. Each plate is activated independently by a magnet when it comes into contact with a Unibind steel spine product. This means that if someone is using one plate, someone else can use the second or third plate, without interrupting other cycles. In addition, as each heat plate is 38mm wide, you are not restricted to only binding one book per heat plate, but can put a number of documents in the same compartment at the same time.
